How exactly does laser therapy work?
During the consultation, the laser is set based on the condition to be treated.
Glasses are worn by the pet and the owner.
The laser beam is aimed at the treatment area.
The laser treatment itself then takes about 5 minutes
The laser radiation shines through the skin to the area to be treated. Your animal usually does not need to be shaved or disinfected for this.
The treatment is completely painless and the animal is treated without sedation. Most dogs and cats quickly get used to the treatment, often it is clearly visible that the animals relax during the laser treatment. The effect of laser therapy is cumulative and the patient will often need more than one treatment, even though the condition can improve immediately after the first visit. An optimal treatment plan usually consists of two to three treatments per week and a total of six to eight treatments. Really chronic complaints require about 16 treatments.
Costs and duration of laser therapy for your pet:
The frequency of laser treatment depends on the reason for the laser therapy. In addition, we look at the health of your pet and of course how your animal responds to the treatment.
